Who we are
Well Enough Life is a product of Wellbeing Solved, operated by David Oswald. We are the data controller for any personal data collected through this website.
If you have any questions about this policy or wish to exercise your rights, please contact us at support@wellbeingsolved.com.
The Alignment Compass: no data leaves your browser
When you complete the Alignment Compass assessment, your answers, scores, and generated report are processed entirely within your browser. This data is never transmitted to or stored by Well Enough Life or any third party.
Once you reach your results, your assessment data is encoded into your page URL (the address bar). This means you can bookmark or save the URL to return to your report at any time — the data exists only in that URL, in your browser history, and in any bookmarks you create. It is never sent to our servers.
If you close the tab without saving the URL, your results are lost. We do not use cookies or any other server-side mechanism to store your assessment data.
Emailing your report
If you choose to email your report to yourself, your email address and report data are transmitted securely to our server for the sole purpose of sending that email. This data is processed entirely in memory, is not written to any database or log, and is discarded immediately after the email is sent. We retain no record of it.
The email is delivered via EmailIt, our transactional email provider, who act as a data processor on our behalf. EmailIt will retain both your email address and the content of the email (which includes your assessment results) in accordance with their own retention policies. You can read their privacy policy at emailit.com/privacy-policy.
We do not use your email address for any other purpose. We will not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing emails, or share your address with any other party as a result of using the email report feature. A copy of your report will also exist in your inbox and, transiently, in your email provider's infrastructure.
Newsletter subscription
If you choose to subscribe to occasional emails from Well Enough Life, we collect:
- Your email address.
- A record of your consent, including the date and time you subscribed and the source (this website's footer form).
This information is stored with Flodesk, our email marketing platform, who act as a data processor on our behalf. Flodesk is based in the United States and operates under standard contractual clauses for transfers of personal data outside the UK and EEA. You can read their privacy policy at flodesk.com/privacy.
We use this data only to send you occasional emails about Well Enough Life. We will never sell it, share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes, or use it for targeted advertising.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you, or by contacting us directly.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics platform. No data about your browsing behaviour on this site is collected or shared with any advertising network.
Your rights under UK GDPR
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you have the following rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you:
- Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data at any time.
- Right to withdraw consent — you can withdraw your consent to receive emails at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of any emails sent before withdrawal.
- Right to complain — if you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
